Email features should be back online as of 12:21pm 1/24/2022!
The Division of Information Technology is aware of intermittent issues for some individuals involving email and scanning to email via the Adrian Campus printers. These issues are related to similar problems experienced last week. While we were able to permanently resolve the issue for roughly 80 affected individuals last week, some individuals will experience temporary loss of access to email today until the issue is resolved. If you are currently affected by this email outage, please contact the IT Help Desk at 517 264 7655 so we can work to migrate your email account later today to avoid any future issues and outages caused by this problem.
While we are working to resolve these issues for those affected, we have outlined the affected service and workaround for the time being. Scanning via MFP printer should function normally.
Problem: Some select users will not be able to access their email inbox while we are working to resolve connectivity issues. If you have previously been able to access your email inbox through office.com or Microsoft Outlook, you should not be affected. Certain individuals that accessed emails through mail.sienaheights.edu (not office.com or outlook.office.com) will be affected.
Workaround: We recommend using alternative communication channels to contact individuals affected. Microsoft Teams and Canvas Inbox/course are two alternative platforms that we can recommend at this time. Most emails that are being sent to those affected will be delayed until issues are resolved.
