GlobalProtect VPN
The Department of Information Technology has provided VPN services for members of faculty and staff. The VPN allows SHU staff members to access network resources without the need for VMWare Horizon View.
Visit the web portal, vpn.sienaheights.edu, for access to the GlobalProtect application.
On-Campus WiFi
To get access to the on-campus Wireless network, connect your personal device to the network SHU-KeyGen. This network will allow you to sign up to our on-campus WiFi network.
Once you fill out the web form that is presented upon connecting to the network, you will receive a unique access key. This key will allow you to connect up to 10 devices to the SHU-PPSK network. The SHU-PPSK network will allow your devices to connect to the internet.
Residence Hall Network Upgrade
During the summer of 2019, all rooms in Ledwidge and Archangelus residence halls received upgraded network service. This upgrade involved the addition of new access points in every room for faster wireless speeds and the option of lined-in connections for personal devices.
