In 100 words or less, my role at Siena Heights is… My role at Siena is to supervise the 14 Resident Assistants in Ledwidge and Archangleus Hall. I am a live-in professional so I reside in Ledwidge Hall year round. I work to ensure that our students have a meaningful on-campus living experience where they are able to grow and develop their purpose within an inclusive and welcoming community. I assist the RA’s in ensuring this through hall programming, floor meetings, educational bulletin boards, door decorations etc.
One thing people at Siena would be surprised to know about me is… I am very involved in my hometown/county’s (Manchester/Washtenaw County) 4-H programs and often spend my summers helping kids to get their lambs and steers ready for fair by shearing, clipping and helping to train them. You can usually find me in the stands or in the animal barns cheering on all my favorite kiddos!
What is your favorite food? Tacos! Preferably Sunnyside’s. 🙂
What is your favorite movie/TV show? Sweet Home Alabama and Friday Night Lights
If I were on a desert island and could bring just one book, it would be… Uninvited by Lysa Terkeurst (A life-changing book I highly recommend!)
My favorite thing/person/event about Siena Heights is… My favorite event at Siena is every home football game! I love getting to put on all my favorite SHU gear and go support and cheer on our Saints!
