In 100 words or less, my role at Siena Heights is… I teach totally online courses: “The Adult Learner,” courses in philosophy (social/political, the arts, philosophy of religion, technology and the human condition) and in theology (theological ethics)
One thing people at Siena would be surprised to know about me is… I was chief author of University-wide policy on copyright, 2015, and chief editor of the current University policy on rank and promotion. I was a Jesuit priest but left the Jesuits to marry a long-time friend. I play flute and create custom event cards (memorials, wedding, birthdays, ordinations, etc.).
What is your favorite food? Pizza
What is your favorite movie/TV show? LaLa Land
If I were on a desert island and could bring just one book, it would be… “Insight,” by Bernard Lonergan
My favorite thing/person/event about Siena Heights is… The joy evident in our administrators, staff, and faculty.
