In 100 words or less, my role at Siena Heights is… I coordinate the early childhood education programs at Siena. I oversee curriculum, assessment and matriculation of the associates, bachelors, and master’s programs. One of my favorite parts of my job is meeting with students and helping them reach their educational goals. I love mentoring them through the program and watching them grow and mature into competent early childhood teachers. Coordination requirements include ensuring the courses, key assessments and program outcomes are aligned to the state and national accrediting bodies. Yearly assessment reports are created and data are analyzed to ensure our early childhood candidates have the best training possible.
One thing people at Siena would be surprised to know about me is… I love to cook, especially baking sweet treats and breads
What is your favorite food? pizza! and ice cream
What is your favorite movie/TV show? Diners, Drive-ins and Dives
If I were on a desert island and could bring just one book, it would be… the Bible. Every time I read it, I learn something new.
My favorite thing/person/event about Siena Heights is… The student award ceremonies. I love celebrating our students accomplishments
