TRIO Student Support Services is a holistic student development program funded through the U.S. Department of Education. Each year the Department of Education requires TRIO programs to complete an Annual Performance Report (APR) to measure each project’s performance in meeting the standard objectives set out in the grant application.

Definitions:
- Persistence: All participants served by the SSS program will persist from one academic year to the beginning of the next academic year or will have earned a bachelor’s degree at Siena Heights University during the academic year.
- Good Academic Standing: All enrolled participants being served will meet the performance level required to remain in good academic standing at the grantee institution.
- Bachelor’s Degree: The percentage of new participants served each year will graduate from Siena Heights University with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent within six (6) years.
- Funded Number: The total number of students served by the SSS program at Siena Heights University.
