Citation Styles – Melissa Sissen

Hero Background 5
There are four major citation style formats that  you as a Siena Heights student will use when writing papers, research papers and theses. It is always wise to check with your instructor to know which format is preferred for the papers you will be writing in that class.
Remember that it is very important that you cite the sources (books, articles, websites, even pictures, graphs and charts) that you are using for your paper. Here are several handouts on these citation styles that can help you while writing and properly documenting your resouces used in your paper.
APA style: This style format is used for  the following course work: Business, Criminal Justice, Education, Psychology, and Social Work. Almost all graduate courses require the use of APA .
