Gender and Sexuality Studies Certificate

The Gender and Sexuality Studies certificate will have students explore marginalized groups and gain a deeper and richer understanding of the experiences from a variety of different standpoints based on their sexuality and gender from community of the U.S. to a global scale. The certificate provides its students the possibility of exploring gender and sexuality from a multitude of different disciplines.

It is quite possible to complete certification alongside any minors or majors a student may be pursuing in their primary area of study. Given that this certificate allows students to explore gender and sexuality from a variety of disciplines. Please contact jbarst@sienaheights.edu for any questions and/or for additional information.

RST 321: Women and Religion
285/485 – Any 285/485 course as approved by the EGS Program Coordinator
Any other electives approved by the EGS Program Coordinator
