Staff Advisory CouncilPurpose: The purpose of the SAC is to review matters impacting staff and to communicate with and advise appropriate campus constituents regarding these matters. Two primary committee functions stemming from this purpose are providing a forum for hearing and discussing staff concerns, questions, and interests and bringing appropriate matters to the University administration. The SAC represents all Siena Heights University (SHU) staff, including exempt and nonexempt staff, full and part-time staff, and staff at all Colleges, campuses, and degree completion centers. “Staff” is defined as any university employee whose primary job duties do not include classroom instruction, such as most full and part-time faculty. |
