Common Dialogue Day 2024: “The Universal Language of Music”
This year’s Common Dialogue Day will be Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and we invite you to submit a discussion topic for the breakout sessions (in-person or virtual) around the theme of “The Universal Language of Music” Pick a topic for yourself or work with a friend, colleague, faculty member, or staff member.
Complete and submit the form to the right by midnight, Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
General Information to keep in mind for your discussion:
- Breakout sessions will be held in-person, virtually, and in hybrid formats. We encourage you select “hybrid” if you are able.
- Breakout sessions are 30 minutes. 15-20 minutes should be the “presentation of topic” followed by dialogue.
- Strive to end your presentation with open-ended questions to generate discussion.
- Act as, or assign, a facilitator to keep the discussion moving forward.
- End the session at by the designated time to facilitate movement to the next session.
