Program Benefits – Honors Program

We believe in service learning both inside and outside of the classroom to create leaders who will make a positive difference in the world. Our honors courses are not “harder.” Instead these interdisciplinary courses are specifically designed to have more opportunity for honors students to be creative and innovative. For example, one of our Honors Seminars focuses on environmental sustainability in that students research and take part in service learning at the Permaculture Center on the Adrian Dominican Sister Motherhouse campus.

 Honors Program scholars are given priority when registering for their classes.

Honors Program Scholars have many opportunities for group activities and entertainment, as well as community service.

Honors Program scholars have the option of living in our Honors Residence Halls that have extended quiet hours.
