FYE Orientation Details
Welcome Week kicks off on Thursday, August 24th, 2022. This year, you can expect a lot of excitement as we have arranged an Academic Interest Picnic, Campus Trivia Games, Campus Meet n’ Greets, the Annual Common Read Dinner and Discussion, a Campus Carnival, and a trip to Cedar Point! During the evenings, there will be karaoke, movies, games, and arts/crafts for students to try out.
This week is also the time when you will be introduced to Bystander Intervention training, Diversity and Inclusion training, and other Safety trainings. These are mandatory for all incoming students.
Welcome Week is designed to help you acclimate to the campus and meet new people in a fun, safe atmosphere. Everyone will be expected to attend! If, for whatever reason, you cannot make it, please contact Liz Artz, Director of Student Engagement and/or Julia Cassell, FYE Coordinator.
