Purpose
The Siena Heights University Recognition Committee promotes the mission of Siena Heights University by recognizing employees that go above and beyond their usual responsibilities. This program enables the Committee to receive notes sent through our “PAWS” (sort of a high-five from Halo) system. Copies of this note are sent to the recipient. Over the years many “kudos” have been given and some Siena employees have been further recognized through a thank you note, a gift, or Employee of the Month. Each month voluntary committee members meet to review the nominated personnel and determine the best method of recognition possible.
The committee also carefully considers nominees for the Fred Smith Champion Award. Recognition of nominees has only been possible through generosity and individual committee member efforts.
It is the consensus of this committee that the recognition of hard work with a professional approach and dedication to Siena build a better community.
